Our contacts app, Interact, works great with Drafts and can easily be used to enable a few great actions on draft text – turning captured contact information into contact records, or sending emails/messages with dynamically selected recipients and attachments.
Parsing Contact Information with the Scratchpad
Drafts is a great place to quickly jot down contact information on the go. If you grab someone's name, phone number, email address in a draft, and later want to make it into a contact, Interact's Contact Scratchpad is a great way to do it.
The pass text from your current draft to Interact's Contact Scratchpad, you can use the built-in Drafts' "Share" action (on the Basic tab of the action list be default), and select the "Create Contact" action extension.
Learn more about the Interact Contact Scratchpad, or see it in action in this screencast.
If you find you will use this feature often, and want to save the extra taps required to select the extension, you can install a Parse Contact in Interact action, which integrates directly with Interact through URL schemes.
Sending Email and Messages
With Drafts, it's easy to send an email or message. It's also easy to create custom actions to email or message pre-defined recipients. But sometimes you'd like to dynamically assign recipients from your contact list, or attach some files from Dropbox, etc. Enter Interact and it's sharing context.
You can pass the text from your draft to Interact, tap on a few recipients, add attachments from any iOS document provider, then send. To pass text from your draft to the Interact context, you can again use Drafts' built-in "Share" action and select the Interact Share extension...or for quicker access, install the Send to Interact action from the Action Directory.

Searching Contacts
If you use Drafts as a starting point for quick searches, install this Search in Interact action, which will launch Interact directly to a search of your contact list using the text of the current draft.
